An elemental master cannot harm another without reason. An elemental master cannot harm their descendants or close family. Elemental masters must not reveal the source of their power. Blah, blah, blah. Those are the old rules of being an elemental master. Time someone updated these stupid, out of date rules. That's what elemental masters Valosian, Krisoft, Varonias and Sarnasian believe, anyways. They feel that Elemental Masters should have more freedom. But, all sorts of things happen to them as they set out to change the rules of being an elemental master. Will these four friends succeed or will they be shunned for trying to bring in the new and put the old out?

Drisana is a mermaid sentenced to death. After escaping her fate, she comes across two human males sharing whispers about the recruitment of members and decides to go on land to find him. One day, she finds a strange circle containing a sharp, red arrow. Upon picking it up, she is bewildered to see the arrow points to something she'd never expect: her captain.
