Instead of the ENTIRE Pokémon series leading up to X and Y, what if Serena was instead part of the series from the start since SUPPOSIVELY she and Ash knew each other as children? Anyways, this is a Ash x Serena story, and it's another inspiration from my wonderful fiancé , Kevin. 💕

Blue Oak was a born fighter, his father used to say. That was the reason he couldn't accept his loss to Red at the Indigo Plateau. When Red begins to sink deeper and deeper into darkness, help comes in the most unexpected way and the fallen champion begins to see an aspect of the trainer who used to be his rival no one had ever seen before. 2 years after the battle of Red and Blue, a new trainer starts out. She/he has a similar story to Red: Gets a fire-type as her/his first Pokémon, and sets out to become the champion. But her/his story starts in Johto. A new region. She/he finds a mysterious book, empty of writing. What will this book do? Does it have a personal connection to Red, the legendary trainer? Or Blue, the famous trainer who became the Viridian City gym leader?
