Winterfeelings Stories

This poem is metaphorically comparing a winter experience to a person who has fallen into depression, causing feelings of despair, loneliness, and numb/emptiness to be brought upon them. This poem goes along with the same but different comparison as my poem, "Autumn's Breeze", as both are using metaphors for mental health using the seasons.

While on vacation at the quaint mountainside town where Lee's parents own a mountain lodge, Lee takes Ruth, his closest friend, to his favourite spot in town. There, they discover an underground cave with hidden depths, unaware that they will end up exploring much more in the process.
