This story also features the many appearances of kaiju from several Japanese media franchises like Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman. Also, other Japanese kaiju like Guilala and Gappa will appear. Set in the alternate timeline where the events of Invasion, Outsiders and Phantom didn't occurred.

But when a covert experiment collapses and the Team stumbles upon him during their own escape, everything changes. Phantom is unleashed. What follows is chaos: near-death for the Team, intervention by the Justice League, and a secret buried beneath the surface of Mount Justice. Now housed in containment, Phantom is no longer a ghost in the system-he's a wildcard under watch. Trained by Deathstroke. Engineered for perfect assassination. Haunted by his own shadow.
