Good Bye Winter

Crazy. Psycho. Ignorant. Stupid. These were the kinds of names Cassy had always been called as a child.

She had been bullied long for all the wrong reasons but it didn't seem to matter to her. She knew she had one friend who would comfort her when she needed it the most- Maya. She was magical, the only ray of hope in Cassy's life. Maya had always been there for Cassy and Cassy could never tell her just how much she cherished their friendship.

Cassy was insecure and never talked to people. She would often walk to the lake and sit by herself. It was all fine for Cassy until people began to make fun of her for talking to herself. But Cassy wasn't talking to herself. She was talking to Maya.

It's been ten years since.
On this hollow eve, the person people claimed to have never existed had her bright eyes staring right into Cassy's. This was going to be a winter Cassy would never forget.
