Charlotte must hunt to secure a full plate on her dining table in the absence of her father. She must go against the standings of society and risk all that she is since women are forbidden to hunt. Hence, she must keep in the shadows. But when on a hot Summer's day the life of a duke from Carlisle is endangered by an attack from a wild bear, will Charlotte refrain from saving his life or will she risk everything?
