Love is one of those emotions that will either spotlight your best or highlight your worse. The right kind of love will make you feel like you are invincible, almost as if you are on top of the world. It can make you feel like the queen in the eyes of the world, in his eyes. The wrong kind of love can have you fighting to breathe. It makes you feel as though your lungs have collapse as life slowly seeps out of you. In some odd way as you take your final breaths, you still feel like his queen. From the moment my eyes met his at a crowded party, I knew we were destined to be in one another's lives. The red line of fate was tied around our ankles. I was his queen, and he was my king. Sebastian is the bad boy that every father warns his daughter about. Sebastian will never be good enough for a preacher's daughter. My father made this very clear from the moment that Sebastian shook his hand and introduced himself. Being a rebellious girl was never the plan, but Sebastian had a way with me. I ignored that he was the king of the streets and took my place by his side as his queen. I looked away at all his infidelities and convinced myself I was exceptional in his gorgeous grey eyes. Shamefully, love has a way of making you feel powerless. This is the story of my first bittersweet taste of love.
