Ebony and Sage live in a world separated by darkness and light. One day they are each taken to one of the two royal palaces where Sage is bound to serve Acerbus of the dark and Ebony is sent to Lucidus of the light.

Best Friends since primary school, Ebony and Sage have grown up in a small quiet town with normal, sheltered lives. That is in till they are taken and suddenly their lives are torn apart when Ebony is sent to the Lucidus and Sage is sent to Acerbus for training to become warriors.

However it is quickly seen that Ebony and Sage are much more powerful then first thought and so when the King of Acerbus decides that a balance of light and dark no longer fits his approval the girls are drawn into something far bigger than they ever dreamed off. Something that only they can stop.
