The Crimson Trail

They say there lies this world and then, a world beyond; that there exist beings amongst us who are above this mundane mortality and impuissant lives. And that there exist powers that not all have felt or known.
Powers...
We want them, we cherish them and we definitely wish to use them. But what truly happens if you're gifted with some? All gifts come with a price.
The question is whether our protagonist has it in her bones to handle them as she tries to tread in a world filled with darkness?
