This is a story about the life of Mia, a 17 year old gamer girl. Or what's left of it anyway. She was the only person in her entire group of friends and family who survived. Survived what you may ask? The Zombie Apocalypse. Now all she has to do is live another day with her new group, trying to find there friend. That should be easy. Right? Wrong.

"I can't lose you like I've lost everyone else" I say, something inside of him clicks and his eyes turn angry "You have no idea what loss is" he says through clenched teeth. The tears in my eyes finally overflow and they fall down my cheeks faster than I want them to "Everyone that I have cared for has either died or left me" i pause and glare at him "Everyone-" I shove him back "-fucking except for you" I sob. She goes to her mother's friend Marlene who helps her out by taking her to two smugglers, Joel and Tess, who are instructed to take her to a group of Fireflies who can reverse engineer a cure for the infected. Joel is in his late 40's, he was there when the apocalypse started and has suffered ever since, until he meets Ellie and his entire perspective on life changes. He finds that over time he begins to have feelings for Ellie, he wants to protect her and shelter her from this horrible life. Can Ellie and Joel save the world? What will happen on their adventure together?
