When Derek Hale originally runs from Beacon Hills, he doesn't know if he'll ever go back. Then 6 and 1/2 years later, he's called back by his sister Laura who had been mysteriously ripped in half. District Hale, the only surviving Hale from the fire other then Uncle Peter, comes back with Derek.

There is a new alpha on top of all this and there is a new werewolf, District's ex boyfriend, Scott McColl. The Argents, famous werewolf Hunters have come back to town and are out for the blood of District, Derek, and the Alpha.

And Derek and District have another personal problem to deal with, the main hunter's sister, Kate Argent, who burned their family alive, human and werewolf alike in the Hale House 6 years ago, and who wants to finish the job she started 6 years ago.

And then there's the mysterious 'alpha' who's been running around town, not to mention District having to protect Jackson Whittemoore her ex boyfriend and now boyfriend, Lydia Martin his ex, and Stiles Stilinski, Scott's best friend.

When things get tense between Lydia and District as they fight over Jackson, Scott and Jackson as they fight over District, and Derek and District as they face the girl of their nightmares again, will they survive?

Or will the tension give the alpha and the hunters the path they need to extermine all werewolves and the alphas in Beacon Hills? And will Kate Argent get to finish off the Hale line? Or will she be killed before that could ever happen...

Then District's life is now even more complicated with the Kanima around killing people.

Not to mention her newfound knowledge of her Beta's feelings against Jackson's.

She's stuck between boys, protecting her pack and herself, human and werewolf alike, from her Reborn Uncle, and Two of her own Pack members on Full Moons. Her and Derek have their hands or should I say CLAWS full.

Not to mention District's lacrosse team.
