When avalon, a girl from canada, runs away from home with her dog, she is taken to a childrens home for kids with problems. She dosent have any issues, but manages to persuade the council to let her stay there because they allow pets. Finally, after escaping the home with her german shepherd wolf crossbreed, atlas, she is forced into the woods after being noticed on the streets of the city with her dog. She starts adapting to her new life in the wild, where her father also dissapeared to 3 years ago. As Ava nears her fourteenth birthday, weird changes such as muscle pain and weird dreams start happening in the night. She has always loved the moon, but as the days count down to her birthday which is also the day of the full moon, she becomes more entranced by it. She starts seeing a mysterious figure in her sleep, and altlas is becoming more restless and acting strangley. He seems to be wandering off at night.
