Zapphira Lane is a detective and loves it. She has a good life, a best friend. But she's been having these dreams for a while now. There always the same. She's on fire, but she never burns.
She doesn't know what they mean, they scare her. But she knows its nothing good.
The city is full of the supernatural. Demons vampires and werewolves.
What she doesn't know is that the city is about to be at war, Zappira and a group are the only ones who can stop it.
