The Accident Called Love [HIATUS]

Jayce Johnson has the good looks and personality - to everyone except Clara Lane, who couldn't care less about the guy. She and Jayce had been best friends... in preschool and maybe the beginning of elementary. Then somehow, they became enemies out for each other's throats. It doesn't help that they're in the same crowd and meet each other on a regular basis. Some people say that Clara and Jayce are just like an old couple, but they both know otherwise.

Everything changes when Clara's best friend is dumped by Jayce after exactly a month of going out with him. And of course, the guy was too cowardly to dump her in person. Clara pities her friend, but tells her that it was only to be expected. The friend, however, is dead-set on revenge. Clara is forced to date Jayce and make him fall in love with her, only to dump him the day the month ends. Despite knowing how outrageous and impossible the plan is, Clara agrees, but that's after her so-called-friend bribes her into it.

After all, Clara has always liked her friend's younger brother. He's only a year younger than them, but he's hot and basically the boy of her dreams. She just has to date annoying-as-heck-Jayce for a month, and her friend will finally hook her up with the boy! It can't be that hard, can it? It doesn't strike her the littlest bit odd that Jayce supposedly dumped said friend after exactly a month. Seriously, there's no reason for the friend to lie to her - right?
