Not all Superheros start off as good people. Sometimes the journey to being a hero takes pain and suffering, whether it's causing it, or feeling it yourself. 

Marisol Thomas has done bad things in her life. She is a mutant, but before she discovers exactly what that means, tragedy falls upon her family and she lashes out in anger. 

After years in a top secret mutant prison, Marisol no longer knows the meaning of good and bad-she only knows survival.

The X-Men reach out to her, lending a healing hand and a way to deal with the pain she's gone through. She finds comfort in knowing that she's not the only one afraid of the things they've done.Todos los derechos reservados

Kurt doesn't believe for a moment what Scott says about her running away to hide, but then, where is she, and who can find her? If the X-Men can manage to find Kerri and to get rid of the benefactor, will they be able to make it back to life as they knew it, or will it be changed forever? And what about the damage left behind? Surely the Professor will be able to clean it up, right?

Kerri was just a normal teenager with maybe a little worse than normal home life, and an ok but dull school life. That is, until she one day develops an interesting problem. She gains mutant powers, and her appearance starts changing randomly with her emotions. Now she has to try and keep those under a tighter lock than before, because mutant hysteria has hit her town, and she went from an unknown quiet bookworm to the topic on everybody's tongue. Then it really hits the fan at home and she has to leave before it gets worse. Luckily, Professor Charles Xavier finds her and saves her from the streets before something unthinkable can happen to her. Unfortunately it took him a year to find her and she's withdrawn from the world, and isn't used to socializing with humans anymore. And then there's Kurt, code name Nightcrawler. He's a mutant too, and has been treated differently his whole life because of the way he looks. The best day of his life was coming to the institute and getting the hologram that hides the way he really looks so he can finally look like everyone else. But when the newest student comes to the school, he finds himself judging her by looks too. Until she pushes him into showing her his true appearance and marks his life as the first person to ever tell him that he looks better without the hologram. Then, as promised, she shows him what she really looks like and he falls for her. Too bad there's only two trimesters left of his senior year before he graduates. Will Kurt be able to pull Kerri out of her shell before he graduates and has to find what to do next with his life? And what about the pressures of high school and the anti mutant society that are always there at the edge of their life?

She needed to start a new chapter and move on. But just as everything started to get better and just as she thought she had her life back, new challenges come her way, old friends and people the never thought she'd see again come back, more dangers raise, and life becomes a little tougher than what it was. Secrets will be out and new chances are going to come to her. Sophia is going to have to deal with more than she did back then and save not only herself, but her team, her family as well. Like I said, this is just the beginning...

Unlike his peers, Kurt's obvious physical mutation was something he was both praised and tormented for. His past is riddled with suffering, but what happens when events force him to reveal himself and tell his story to his friends in order for them to help him heal. Do they understand what it really means to be considered a monster? (I really enjoyed the show Xmen Evolution, but I think there was a missed opportunity for them to delve into Nightcrawler's backstory. This is a slightly darker tone than the show, but how I would go about his origin. Most of the characters are therefore based on this show or if you want to talk generally, Marvel) I'm a novice writer and this is my first story/fanfic I'm releasing so I hope you enjoy and don't mind commenting on my writing if that's what you want to do The cover image is my original artwork, so yeah that to :) (more art on my instagram if you like it and care enough to do so @nitch17sketch)
