The Pipeline

An agricultural region that has access to water from the 'mighty dam' as the locals call it, had not really felt the impact or tragedy of the ongoing drought as the arid regions of the state had to endure, as the region had access to a water source due to some foresight and intelligent government decisions made several decades prior. It was only when the community were forced to start sharing the resource that things began to get ugly and some intelligent and swift action was needed to prevent a civil war.
