The follow-up to Unfrequented. The crew returns home to the mega-station with the spoils of their latest discovery. They are attacked by two separate groups and one of them is a shady paramilitary organization that is apparently aware of exactly what Situous Rather found in the Out-Fields. Meanwhile, Ref must rescue Grathe from his own family, which has taken him for judgment of his past crimes.
