Spring Upon the Solstice

Seventeen year-old Jhiro Fukiyama hates the world; that's a fact. Of course, he has reason to. After all, he's a Yomiborn in totalitarian Japan, and for that very reason, he's been treated like dirt for his entire life. But when he meets a mysterious user by the name of "katxh3187" online, he stumbles into a rabbit hole of international deception and conspiracy, where the answers to his Yomiborn curse lie down at the very bottom.

Unfortunately, Jhiro's pursuit of the truth gets him and everyone he loves trapped in a dangerous web of lies, and at the very center of it, he finds himself thrust into the role of the protector--that is, protector of the world he despises, to defend it from monstrous creatures called Harbingers and the impending World War IV.
