No one has discovered what exactly the marked ones are. The things that seperates them from humans is their form when they turn. Their pupils turn white, their body gets bigger and their mark start shining. Their mark can be anywhere on their body. It's a circle. You cannot see it when they're their normal selves but only when they turn. They can't corntrol when they turn, and it's different for everyone. But one thing they have in common is that they destory. Destroy everything they see. And to keep this world safe; the marked people has to be examined.

And since he was the first and had all A's except for 1 B (it's criminology) He got into it. So over summer break, he was taught by an anthro (Labrador) some of their traditions. The only difference between them and humans is that they 2 things. Every year for a month, the females get a heat cycle. (It's not the typical one. They can control it.
