Rumors have followed Sinjin De'Ath since his birth. When his father repudiated him and sent him to an orphanage, his mother's aunt and her best friend took him in and raised him as their own.

After six years in the northern lands as a knight errant, he returns to the south where he grew up, hoping to find a life of peace and quiet.
