The Song twins are pillars in their upscale community. On the outside looking in, they are the epitome of perfection; rich, beautiful, and successful. But to Kaori and Maori, their lives could not be farther from the illusion they've spun. Maori struggles with the daily grind of her high-profile artistry. Unused to the fame, she attempts to hide herself away from the public eye, and still she can't help but feel as though someone is always watching her. Maybe even looking out for her. Kaori is seemingly the only one of the two who has it all. But even she soon realizes that her previously picturesque life isn't all that it's cracked up to be: money's being left in their apartment every few days, someone is stalking Maori, and their mother suddenly won't answer their calls after she shows up on the news for killing a celebrity couple. With the help of an adept computer programmer, a sous chef, and a heavy-metal singer turned political adversary, anything can be possible. Finding out what's plaguing Kaori and Maori's previously quiet life... well, that's a little more difficult.
