Alexandrite has always been different.
Ever since she was little, she's been judged, by her looks, her actions, her parents, her home, her clothes, everything.
She's been abused by her mom, and her sick boyfriend, Damien. She finally decides to run, and when she does, another person ruins her life.
Then, she stumbles upon the Cullens, who don't judge based off of her appearance, and decide go adopt her.
Then, she meets a certain young shifter, and her life is turned upside down.
