"Y-You have powers," Loki said softly. Peg nodded.
    
    "I-It's just so hard to trust anyone now..." she said quietly. "We're lucky we even found you."
    
    Loki sighed softly. Part of him wanted to just get them out of their miserable state and take them home, and show them that the world wasn't as bad as it seemed.
    
    He felt an urge to protect these kids, something he'd never felt before. He needed them, and they needed him. 'I just wonder how long I can keep this secret.'

    Peg was only 15, but already on the run from her home, her past, and all her mistakes. On this journey came her 3 friends, Misty, Breeze, and Shadow. The four had been through practically everything together in a desperate attempt to escape their hometown. However, when it seems that all their adventures may finally be forced to an end, Peg meets a man who surprisingly wants to help them.
    
    She never knew who the man truly was, but frankly, she didn't care.
    
    She just knew he was going to change their lives.
