"Why me?" Zoe is continuously asking herself this question; because of her situational circumstances. Zoe Bryant is a timid, yet curious 17-year old girl, who once had a zest for life. Furthermore, Zoe's once vibrant personality has been tarnished by the most popular girl in her school, Marla Dunham. Marla is a uniquely specific kind of evil. Moreover, she is continually figuring out ways to torture Zoe without pause and, for example, tearing her down emotionally and physically in front of the entire school, threatening to come to her house, and jump her daily, which forces her to stay inside.
