Aliyah Aelius was told when she arrived at her summer camp she would have a soulmate.

This camp, of course, is Camp Half Blood, a camp where the children of Greek gods stay.

She arrived when she was only six years old after her mother dropped her off at the border and told her that they would be in contact. There was three demigods in the area she lived in and the attacks were too much for her mother, so the year she turned six Aliyah became a year rounder at Camp Half-Blood. This didn't really bother her as she had become fast friends with many of the campers and her few cabin mates.

However, when her supposed soulmate is accused of stealing Zues's mater bolt, Aliyah knew she was in for a long ride.
