The saga continues with another perspective that brings even more depth and clarity to the truth within lies.
Before the fall he was the morning star and she was his everything. A gift to his father he fell in love with the creature that only existed in perpetual twilight. He loved her so much that he would sacrifice everything for her including his wings. But the council rather see everything in ruin rather than let her live. But I Am has other plans.
She was his greatest love, greatest loss, the cause of his fall, and his eternal punishment.

Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He came under the most scrutiny when it was revealed that he had fallen in love with that daughter, who just happened to be half angel. Their love was forbidden, so when she was murdered by his hand, he was sent by Lucifer to live in the church where the adviser lived. His main purpose was to be a guard and basically a slave to whatever the adviser, James, wanted. While being there, he met James' niece, who looked just like the girl he had fallen in love with. However, those were the least of his problems. Things start to change for Kane and he starts to learn about his past. He begins questioning his position with the demons, wondering how everything suddenly changed. He learns of his past and how his entire life up to this point was based on a lie created by the one he calls father: Lucifer himself. Now, the fight is with Kane, where he tries to battle what he's become and what's expected of him compared to he was and who he could have been.

In the days of Twilight, Supernaturals, The Originals and Bitten, vampires, witches, werewolves and other supernatural creatures, she just wasn't interested. From a distance. It was forbidden to reveal himself to her. Humans didn't do well when they learned that they were not the only species out there. She was unspoiled by the world around her. Unbelievably so. Innocent in a way that he had not seen in centuries. She was pure and light. To have her as his was his one desire. Yet, they were worlds apart.
