    Sofia Arawen has little in the world. She lives in the Underground, a subterranean city deep beneath the bustle and extravagance of the capitol. One day she met a man who changed everything: the leader of the Scout Regiment, Erwin Smith. Sofia fell in love with him and hoped he would one day save her from her circumstances, but upon learning of his death, she decides to take her fate into her own hands and joins the Scout Regiment herself. As the world spins about her, she must push through her own heartbreak, defend herself from the terrors that await her as a Scout, and protect the world from a traitor in her midst.
