As I journey through life, turn by turn, wondering where I'll end up next, I look back down that road that I crossed over and I smile. Yes, I made it. Jesus saw me through yet another obstacle. I take a deep breath, I stare into the empty space, wondering why everything happened how it did? Where do I even begin to tell the story of where I've come from? I just hope that I can encourage someone, somewhere, to keep pushing. To keep fighting. To keep striving for better, toward success, to finish. .... Yeah to finish!

The Road to Knowing
We get saved and set out on a wonderful road to know our Savior and Creator. Many are there to tell us just what to do. Few are there to tell us how to do it. The road that seemed smooth and wonderful begins to turn rocky and muddy. We bog down, we grow discouraged. The ones who told us what to do disappear and we are left by ourselves wondering what happened to this thing called Christianity that seemed to promise so much. I have been there, been stuck there, wept there, and quit there. When I finally collapsed on that muddy road with no one to help I turned my eyes to the cross and found my Lord and God were there all the time.
