I put in my earbud, sighing as we pulled out of the driveway. I had already said my goodbyes; to my friends, and the little family that we had here in New York. Turning up the volume on my phone and leaning back in my car seat, I wondered what my new life would be like. I mean, I was moving across the globe, to Australia. I don't know anyone there, really the only thing I know about Austraila is that they have kagaroos and koalas. My mom said I should look at it like a second chance. My friends told me to find some cute Australian girls to bring back to the U.S. My dad, well he's the whole reason this is happening.
