A story about a girl and a boy. This isn't a typical story where they fall in love and live happily ever after. In fact, it's the exact opposite. Their life isn't straight forward at all, this isn't a story about romance or heroes; this is a story about pain, and growth, and the complicated lives of Ezinwa and Chizo. This story is based in England. This story shows the messy side of life, the side that not everyone likes to read about, the side where love and loss are 2 sides of the same coin, the side of life that doesn't always have a happy ending. This is a story about a girl and a boy. Ezinwa and Chizo. The 2 broken moulds. This story is based in a caricature type society. Where micro-aggression is evident, and it is based in England at a time where racism was quite prominent. Please do not be offended by some of the things in this book as I am making it relative to the time. I do not insult any race in this book as to me we are all equal and bleed red. The characters are dealing with racism and things that are still common today. I'm showing how they survived it. This is fiction though, but I have based it a lot in everyday things and experiences me or someone I know have gone through. (I am also black) This story is for everyone, there is no strong language or inappropriate scenes.
