In an alternate Marvel Universe, Thea Haydensen is a twenty-two year old graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in psychology. After graduation, her and her best friend, Adley St. James, go on a trip to Asia with their archaeologist professor; a once in a lifetime opportunity. Whilst there, Thea happens upon a terrigen crystal and unlocks the power to manipulate water to a molecular level.
When Adley finds out, she uses it as her last ditch opportunity to get into SHIELD's Sciences Division and put her biology degree to use. She reveals Thea's powers to SHIELD, forever breaking their friendship. Thea flees in fear of SHIELD capturing and subjecting her to inhumane experiments.
Nick Fury, however, has other plans for Thea Haydensen, as an outer worldly threat falls upon the human race.
(This story is written as though it is her journal. And will take place across all of the MCU as it pertains to her character.)

Dr. Banner, Thea admires, but his own dangerous secret is known to her. And Steve Rogers is far too upbeat for Thea's generally pessimistic liking. And then there is one other person. Someone with a tongue of wit, a personality of iron, and a mind as complicated as Gordian's Knot- just like Thea. Someone who knows how to soothe her fears just as quickly as he knows how to get under her skin. The person that is perhaps the most untrustworthy, but whom little Thea may begin to trust the most. While at Umber Academy, Thea tries to push these thoughts and troubles away and focus on being a normal high school student. Thea knows how to fight sorceresses and monsters, but the world of bratty girls, high school classes, and scorned love, is a whole new fight for her. But being "normal" is never part of the equation at Umber Academy, although Thea is even less than normal. And everyone around her seems to have a secret.
