Thea Haydensen: The Forgotten Avenger

In an alternate Marvel Universe, Thea Haydensen is a twenty-two year old graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in psychology. After graduation, her and her best friend, Adley St. James, go on a trip to Asia with their archaeologist professor; a once in a lifetime opportunity. Whilst there, Thea happens upon a terrigen crystal and unlocks the power to manipulate water to a molecular level.
When Adley finds out, she uses it as her last ditch opportunity to get into SHIELD's Sciences Division and put her biology degree to use. She reveals Thea's powers to SHIELD, forever breaking their friendship. Thea flees in fear of SHIELD capturing and subjecting her to inhumane experiments.
Nick Fury, however, has other plans for Thea Haydensen, as an outer worldly threat falls upon the human race.
