"There's a whole other world filled with stuff of fairytales that lives just under your nose. And I didn't know until a few years ago and you only found out a few months after me. Do you think I wanted the legends to be true? Do you think I wanted to be this way!" I shouted to him. Tears fell from my eyes but I couldn't wipe them. "Do you think I wanted to be what I am? A witch, a banshee, a freak?" "Just tell us the facts," he told me. His face was stone and cold. I couldn't detect a hint of emotion behind his eyes. "The facts?" I laughed but it wasn't filled with humour. It was dry and cold. A laugh that you'd probably associate with a mad-man and not a twenty-one-year-old woman. "What happened defies all logic! And I've told you many times. Are you trying to catch me in a lie?" He sighed. He was obviously annoyed with me. "Just help us understand, Ms Rosenthal-Spector." I choked on a sob. "What you need to understand, even though I was legally an adult, I was kid. We were all kids. Kids just trying to help one another."
