    Alisa Sempter lives in what is left of North America after a devastating nuclear war. The entire world is in shambles and only a third of its population survived. To top it all off a chemical was released due to the bombs and science has yet to figure out how it will affect everyone. So Alisa continues her life in constant fear living in a colony in Phoenix, Arizona. There is where she meets Colton. Colton, is every girls dream boy and she falls in love almost instantly.
