He had a wild look of panic in his eyes, bandaged knuckles fiercely gripping Chuuya's hat. But neither of those were what made him pause. It wasn't the man's familiar features either.

No, what made his breathing pick up and vision tinge a vivid crimson was the name upon Dazai's lips.

"...Chuuya?"

"Motherfucker," Chuuya barely managed to reply as red surged and overtook him.
