We meet Johnny Gillsman a crewman for the Violet Skye, a skyship that circles the same supersphere from Of Heaven and Fire and Burn Without You, set at the time when Queen Audravienne gives birth to her firstborn son half a world away.
The Violet Skye is the flagship of Salgria Shipping. A shipping company owned by orcs that is primed to be the foremost shipping company in the supersphere.
But while Johnny loves the sea, and the skies and everything about sailing, he is also equally in love with a cook in the infamous Souja Tavern. The biggest and best tavern in the world in Johnny's opinion.
The cook? None other than Nora Souja, who is the last unmarried daughter of the original Souja Family and hieress to Souja Tavern.
The complication? Nora traded her womb to Lady Merideth Ambergreen right before her fateful marraige to Lord Whiteale in exchange for ownership of the Tavern. And in the five years since has adopted two children.
What's a poor sailor to do? Torn between the sky and the sea and the woman he loves and her family?

A story begins when a father loses his daughter after being concussed when he got caught off guard, he had searched for his daughter for a month, beginning to lose hope, resulting to him tragically killing himself with his very own sword, causing him to end up in a looped hell. Author's Note: ~I wrote this as a small joke to see how my writing has improved. This book will be a nod to early 2010s fanfics. Here's the re-write of "Welcome to Smosh" ("Welcome to Smosh" was the very first fanfic I wrote... in 2016 ish. It was horrible and chaotic. I really hope this one is better while still doing the original justice.) Skyler "Skye" Hecox is Ian's younger sister. The two were only ever close when it came to comedy and making people laugh. After Ian and Anthony started Smosh, she joined as a cast member. She was a fan favorite, and many arguments were started between Ian and Anthony over how involved Sky was allowed to get. Around this time, Defy shut down, and Skye decided to leave for a better opportunity to do well for herself. When she finally meets up with the Smosh cast, she decides to stay, remembering her joy with being in Smosh when it was the old crew. Missing her friends Joven, Mari, Lasercorn, Sohiki, and Wes, she decides to have one last video for the members of smosh... old and new.

She has a small speck of introvert in her from her father, Riptide, and that small speck has a rather large effect on her. When Angelfish befriends the young Primrose, she seems to finally find somebody who understands the voices. But Primrose only seems like a hidden crypt, waiting to be discovered. Lyre is awkward and bookish and hardly fits in anywhere. He hopes to find a place in this wild family, and he almost does, but Primrose goes to him with her secret and he struggles to keep it. Primrose is the one thing stopping him from truly finding a place in the world, so why should he keep her secret? What should he do? Sunkeeper is usually happy and bright, but Primrose is just too... interesting. Like Knowledgebringer would say, "a book too interesting to put down."
