The not so perfect love story

Ai Suzuki has just turned 17 and since elementary school she has had a crush on a boy named Itsuki Sasaki. They attend the same school but not the same class, and all these years Itsuki hasn't noticed Ai at all. She becomes frustrated, not getting the attention she wants from the boy she loves so desperately.
One day Ai and her best friend, Cho Yoshida, is paired with two other boys to do a project for the school festivals but it's not just any boys, it's Ai's crush Itsuki and his best friend, Hiro Maeda. Maybe Ai would finally get the attention she so desperately wants from Itsuki. But that's not what's going to happen, at all. His best friend, Hiro, gets involved in Ai's messy love story instead.
