Henriette Finstock, called Henny by anyone who doesn't wish to die a painful death, has been living in Beacon Hills for about seven months. But only now is she facing her first day at BHHS. Her first day as an eighteen year old Sophomore and Assistant Lacrosse Coach. And as if that isn't enough, she quickly discovers that one of her classmates displays suspiciously inhuman behavior. One might say supernatural.
    
    Reluctantly, she takes Scott McCall under her wing and teams up with experienced werewolf Derek Hale to show the teen wolf the ropes and hopefully keep him alive.
    
    Her blooming relationship with Derek as well as one or two rather unexpected friendships finally offer Henny a feeling of home that she has been craving for for two years.
