Henriette Finstock would describe herself as a young woman of many talents. One of those just so happens to be Lacrosse. Over the last few months she spent a majority of her time on training and working out different game plans. Her uncle Bobby provided a list of strengths and weaknesses for every player on the Beacon Hills High team. If one thing is clear, it's that the team desperately needs help. The way Bobby has been training them obviously isn't working.

As she enters the school for her first day as a Sophomore, she shakes her head. Henny just turned eighteen a few weeks ago. She should be a Senior. But as it often does, life interfered. Two years were stolen from her. Though she would gladly give many more if it brought her parents back. She takes a deep breath. No thinking of the past. Her head is finally back on straight and her only focus is school and Lacrosse.

Her first class is English with Mr Curtis. As to avoid the awkward moment where the new girl strolls into the already filled classroom, she gets there early and takes a seat in the back. The words 'Kafka's Metamorphosis' are written across the board, making Henny sigh in relief. Besides preparing for Lacrosse season, she has taken the last few months to get a head start on the semester. Most of the stuff on Curtis' syllabus she has already gone over.

When the class starts with the teacher announcing that a body has been found in the woods the previous night, Henny sits up. Maybe Beacon Hills is not as calm as she expected. Over the seven months since she has moved here, the town seemed peaceful, maybe even kind of boring. Then again, that's exactly what she wanted.

Suddenly, Henny notices a boy with shaggy brown hair flinch in shock. She furrows her eyebrows and subtly watches as his eyes dart around the room. Though she can't make out what he is looking for. Eventually his gaze locks on a girl outside on her phone. But it couldn't have been her phone that disturbed him, surely. Hopefully not.

Deciding not to dwell on it, Henny turns back to the reading material Curtis handed out. Not even a minute later, the door opens and the Vice Principal walks in followed by the girl from outside. "Class, this is our new student, Allison Argent. Just do your best to make her feel welcome." Henny deems it kind of rude that she wasn't given a welcome committee, but then again, Allison looks rather uncomfortable as she walks towards the back of the class. She sits down next to Henny and behind the brunette boy she noticed earlier.

Said boy turns around with a smile and holds out a pen to Allison. She accepts it with a smile, but eyes it wearily after the boy turns around. Once again, Henny decides to let it go.

After classes, she makes her way to her locker, which just so happens to be right next to Allison's. The brunette turns to Henny and smiles. "Hey, I'm Allison." "Henriette. But please call me Henny. You were in my English class earlier. I would offer you a tour, but I'm new too. I've only really seen the field." Bobby brought her along to observe a few practices at the end of last year, but Henny always kept her distance and watched from the top of the bleachers.

Before either girl can say anything more, an energetic red-head comes up behind them. "That jacket is absolutely killer. Where'd you get it?", the girl who Henny recognizes to be Lydia Martin asks. "My mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco", Allison explains. "And you are my new best friend", Lydia declares while a boy comes up behind her and pulls her into a kiss. Right, where there is Lydia Martin, there is Jackson Whittemore. Captain of the Lacrosse team. Bobby regards him very highly, but Henny isn't so sure yet.

After Jackson and Lydia pull apart, they turn to Henny. "And who are you?", the red-head wants to know. "Call me Henny." Lydia gives her a once over and seems pleased. Then she begins telling them about a party on Friday night after the scrimmage. And Allison makes the mistake of assuming she's talking about Football. Which then leads to Jackson explaining how they won the State Championship the past three years, provoking Lydia to boast over her boyfriend. Henny has to hold back a scoff. Jackson Whittemore is most certainly not the sole reason why the team is successful.
