Casey, a 15 year-old highschooler is accidently no-clipped into the backrooms when on a trip with her friends, and finds herself in level fun =) after narrowly escaping a howler, and is nearly tricked and killed by partygoers here. However, a mysterious hooded entity saves her, and agrees to be her friend. They will attempt to travel these levels and escape, but they wont do it alone.... I shrunk back into my seat as his head snapped towards me. He looked like his head was going to fall off. His eyes were blazing with rage. His face was set into an icy glare. His fists that rested on the table were clenched so hard his knuckles were white. As he stood from his chair so did I. I felt like the prey to the biggest predator in the jungle. I took two steps back for every stride he took towards me. I gulped again before shaking me head. "She's just joking Ace." my voice quivered as I took another two steps back. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story.
