what is she?

a boy named Sam, a 15 year old boy, received this weird 'toy' from his Aunt Annie. Annie told him its been her best friend since she was a little girl and she was giving it to Sam since it had been handed down to her by her mother, what Sam didn't know was that this toy was special...more special then any toy he had ever seen.
