Through The Woods

Harper Jackson has always hated the town he lived in. The people there were closed minded idiots who all deserved to rot in the deepest part of hell with no remorse whatsoever.

When he found out from his mother that they'd be moving because her girlfriend, Angie had found a new job in California, he couldn't have been happier to leave that damn place.

That's where he met Maddy and Dane. Everything was going well until he stumbled upon a dead body in the woods and from that day on, bodies with the same injuries kept popping up.

"What the hell was that?" my mom whispered, afraid that whatever was downstairs would hear her. The thing stomped up the stairs, its weight making the steps creak as it got closer and closer to us.

It finally got to the door. Dragging it's 'claw like' hands against it. I was frozen with fear and before I knew it, the creature had broken into our only safe haven.
