My father has recently passed away leaving me, the oldest, his legacy. A legacy greatly accepted. He gave me big power, but he thought I couldnt control it, so his last wish was for me to live my worst nightmare. Marriage. I was rushed into a marriage with a good friend of his who was my age.... Cassian Kills. I am not fond of him, but I accepted my fathers last wish, as the good daughter I am.

" I see you're enjoying your time alone, my love." I heard Cassian say as he sat next to me.
"Its Regina." I glared back with annoyance.
" It's "my love," ok?" He said to me, as he ordered a whiskey. I rolled my eyes and tried to find the right words to tell him about our marriage.
"Mr. Kills, I would like to talk to you about our marriage." I said, as I turned to face him. "What would you like to talk about, my love?" He said in his deep voice, turning to face me. "I want you to be aware that I do not want any type of relationship with you."
"How so?" He said with a puzzled expression. "I don't want any emotional connection with you." I took out my cigarette and lighted one up and tilted my head and exhaled some smoke with a blank expression on my face. There was silence for a while, and when I took my last puff he said... "Are you scared of falling in love?"
