This Is It: How I Imagined Meeting Michael Jackson

When I was a little girl, I worshiped Michael Jackson. He was my idol, and I always dreamed of meeting him one day. When he announced the This Is It residency in 2009 I remember vividly asking my dad if we could go and he didn't answer me, I didn't realize that it was a London-only thing, I assumed it was a regular tour and that he'd eventually come to the US, but obviously it never happened due to his sudden death that summer, so this is how I would have imagined meeting Michael if I got to see him.
