In front of her, James stands, trembling, he doesn't know what to do. His eyes well up with tears, and he extinguishes his saber. Shakily, Joan opens her eyes, and they share a look. "You have been so lost..." It squeezes James's chest to hear his lover sound so terrified, so unsure. She extinguishes James's saber in her hand. "But I will find you," Joan's eyes glint with determination, even behind the glassy look. "And I will bring you home, James..." She slowly reaches a hand out to him. "I can't..." James voice breaks and cracks as he whispers carefully. "No," She finds herself saying, desperate and sharp. "No, James. You can. You can come back to me, James. You can-you can always come back...I will never...leave you astray..."
