Novella 3: After the loss of his brother, Mario Marino finds himself constantly working under the pressure of his father's expectations. Mario has never been a leader, has never had much to say, and prefers staying in the shadows. He also finds himself inheriting his brother's entire life - including his brother's housekeeper and assistant, Poppy Rizzo. Poppy is a bubbly, funny, sweet woman who is opposite Mario in every way. With her help, Mario may just be able to adjust to this new life, and maybe gain some happiness along the way.

This is a side-story in the Queens of Chicago series. This is a complete addition to the other books and does not change or affect the main plot. You certainly do not have to read the others to enjoy this. You'll see plenty of familiar faces if you've read the original series!
