One year after the events of The Devil's Playhouse, Sam & Max: Freelance Police have gone on pretending nothing is wrong. However, what at first seems like a normal case soon turns into an elaborate high-stakes adventure that seems hell-bent on making them face the consequences of their actions, as well as their inactions.
