Isadora Florentina, a self-made writer, pours her heart and soul into her poetry, drawing inspiration from her life experiences, including her deepest thoughts and agonies. However, despite her best-written pieces, she finds that people are not interested in the drama or angst of someone's life. Feeling disheartened, she stops publishing her works and keeps them to herself, hidden away from the world. Meanwhile, Timotheo Gregorio Lim, heir to the largest bookstore chain in the country, is tasked with managing their smallest bookstore in San Simon, his mother's hometown. His parents expect him to be accustomed to the intricacies of the business. Out of boredom, he begins to examine the books, initially finding them uninteresting.
