Week of the wrath

The year is 4086, rather then evolving in society, people began to fall backwards. War raging between countries, disease wiping out the weak. People called it the wrath of gods, that they were angry, furious, at the lack of respect their creations had given them.

In a desperate attempt to stop the wrath of the gods, the society had decided on a way to please them, a sacrifice. A sacrifice of their strongest fighters, the stronger the person, the more they believed the gods would approve, blessing them with peace.

Now, in a shocking reveal, an unknown name has been selected, a name not a soul believed would be chosen.
