Years after hearing the story of the unsolved mystery of the painter, Y/N, who's now a painter, meets the Chief Justice of Fontaine. But the Chief Justice is scared to do a move, scared to lose her again. And as the prophecy starts coming true, both of them will need to stick together.

Masquerade of the guilt
To try and distract herself from worrying about the prophecy, and the fact that she cant have a normal life because she is the archon, furina sits up a masquerade, and end up trying to sit up Neuvillette and Wriothesley in the process, with sigewinne some what help. In the middle of clothes shopping for the masquerade, Wriothesley and Sigewinne run into Neuvillette who went out shopping for Furina and ran into the two. Sigewinne quickly realizes a certain hydro dragon is currently going into a pre-heat with how long he has been around Wriothesley for too many days then should of, and thanks to Furina giving him the idea that Wriothesley would be the perfect mate for him.Complete
The Iudex's day off
Wriothesley takes it upon himself to investigate the sudden disappearances of melusines when Sigewinne doesn't return from her sudden day off. This leads him straight to the Chief Justice himself, only to find that Neuvillette too seems to have taken a few days off. Warning! This story, while just like my other stories, doesn't have smut, unlike my previous stories it is on the more mature side, here and there (mostly some jokes). Read at your own discretion. He simply stepped closer, his presence grounding yet unobtrusive. Furina tightened her grip on the railing. "For five hundred years, I played a role I never asked for. And now, with the curtains closed, I-" Her voice wavered. "I don't know who I am anymore." A soft breeze passed between them. The city of Fontaine continued to thrive below, its people moving forward. But Furina remained frozen, trapped in a past that no longer existed. Neuvillette, however, did not pity her. "You have carried this burden alone for centuries," he said quietly. "It is only natural to feel unmoored now that it has been lifted." She scoffed lightly, though there was no real malice in it. "That's just a polite way of saying I'm lost, isn't it?" A faint smile ghosted Neuvillette's lips. "Perhaps." Furina exhaled sharply, shaking her head. "I want to leave," she murmured. "Start fresh. Find a new home." She let out a humorless chuckle. "I have money, at least. Being an Archon paid well." Neuvillette did not disagree. "...But I don't know where to go," she admitted. It has been weeks since the prophecy had been fulfilled, and Fontaine had been having constant rain. Wriothesley hasn't been outside the Fortress of Meropide since the prophecy, and has gotten barely any communication. When he decides to go out one day, it's raining. And he is greeted by a teary eyed Iudex Neuvillette. They have tea together, and everything seems to goes back to normal. But Wriothesley undergoes bad injuries and is taken in by Neuvillette, discovering something that isn't so simple. While he heals by Neuvillette, they start to grow close.
