There has always been the few who just won't lie down and die. Below the ground, they are developing new treatments to combat a growing catastrophe caused by bio-nuclear war. And just as there are always those who never say die, there are those who become desperate, and take it all too far. Katie is an eight year old survivor. Along with her protector Maurice, the two are thrust into this world of savagery and suffering without anything more than the clothes no their backs. Since the day they left the storage blocks, Terrae has never been more foreboding. Two miles away from the largest city in Terrae, there is a chemical testing facility. From the outside, it looks like a storage block. Row upon row of rusty metal rectangles. Each one hollow, besides the occasional rat or the scattered amount of foliage that had made its way into the containers. There were once a lot of places like this on Terrae. The planet had been painted silver and black by human technology. Now, there is only a fraction left of what once was a blooming population of sentient pioneers. The tides have turned. The plant now dominates the being. And the human race is losing.
